James was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, and he moved to the U.S. as a high school student in 2000. James's realization of his calling to the ministry came after years of pursuing a career and establishing his own business in logistics. Since then, he dedicated himself to serving in his own local church while pursuing his theological education. He has a Master of Arts degree in biblical stuides and a Doctor of Ministry in theology and apologetics. He next began ministering to churches in the Memphis, TN area and beyond with his regular evangelistic work for over five years.
James joined Meadow Heights as our senior pastor on October 1, 2023. He is joined by his wife, Mina, and children Jacob, Joshua, Julia, Joseph and Judah. Meadow Heights is blessed by the entire Kim family and excited about Pastor James and his ministry calling to the Collinsville area.
